• Fight Club is one of those movies that became a cultural phenomenon and fortunately for us, it's not too late for Chuck Palaniuk (pronounced "Paula-Nick") to capitalize on this newfound fame.

David Fincher established himself with Se7en, and a few years later he really brings the house down with this flick.  Brad Pitt and Edward Norton star in one of the most brutal (literally) commentaries on corporate lifestyles ever.

Michael Crichton has simulaneously had the most and least successful movie career of any author who made the transition from paper to film.  On the one hand, we got amazing adaptations (Jurassic Park, The Andromeda Strain) and on the other, terrible drivel!

Where does The 13th Warrior fit?  That's a good question!  This week, we delve into the amazing mess of a blockbuster that caused legendary actor Omar Sharif to question his involvement in Hollywood.  Antonio Banderas joins a bunch of vikings on their quest to exact vengeance (and that's how the plot really goes!)

This week, we revisit one of our favorite trilogies with Hot Fuzz!  Find out why Brandon has terrible taste in Pierce Brosnan's James Bond films (it might shock you!).

Hot Fuzz was directed by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, and also stars Nick Frost, Timothy Dalton, and a plethora of aging British actors known for their more iconic roles in the past. This movie is an in-joke, wrapped in a reference, and packed with tropes, and it is DAMNED good!

We can't really say much else about Road House - everything has already been said!  This is probably one of the cheesiest, corniest, most outlandish movies the Swayze has ever done, and yet, it is one of those classic nostalgia films that we keep watching... over and over... until Clay says we can stop.

Please.  Send for help.  I don't know how much longer I can stay sane...

This week, we're releasing an episode on an old favorite which has gone unwatched by too many secrets!  I mean people.  Too many people.

If you haven't seen this film, it stars Robert Redford, Sidney Poitier, Sir Ben Kingsley, Dan Aykroyd, River Phoenix, Donald Strathairn, and Mary McDonnell.  The cast list itself could have filled any epic movie at the time, but thanks to Phil Alden Robinson (In the Mood, Field of Dreams) we get a solid, well-written caper that is both funny and thought-provoking (especially considering the Wikileaks/NSA spying scandals).

Harrison Ford has been many people, but by far one of his most memorable roles (and most quoted) is his role as Dr Richard Kimble, aka the Man Who Nearly Made Jane Lynch Straight.

The movie itself is a remake of the iconic television show, but suffered none of the setbacks or failures to which many TV show remakes are prone (looking at you, Lone Ranger).  Give this episode a listen, and then sound off on twitter or email us, let us know what you think!

1996 was Matthew McConaughey's year.  He stars in this taut thiller based on the book by John GrishamSamuel L Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Sandra Bullock, and Oliver Platt round out an exceptional cast, which comprises 6 Oscar Winners!

This is Joel Schumacher at his best, pulling out all the stops and really moving things along.  While the plot of the movie is based on tragic events, the events, people, and set dressing are all superb and full of life.  We found some great info and behind the scenes stuff for this episode, and marked it with a milestone: our first repeat guest!

It's been nearly a decade since Children of Men debuted in 2006.  Alfonso Cuaron crafts a chilling near-future set in London, starring Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.  Not many people saw this film when it came out, and it has a cult-like following, but trust us: it's for good reason!

Not bad for a guy whose previous film was a Harry Potter movie!

It's hard to believe we've put out 40 episodes so far.  Captain America: Winter Soldier is a great movie to bring us over the hill (no matter what Eric says).

Chris Evans, Samuel L Jackson, Robert Redford, ScarJo, and Anthony Mackie bring the movie to life in one of the most successful Marvel movies to date.  The Russo brothers directed this sequel to the least successful Marvel movies to date and bring a great perspective to the MCU.  If you haven't seen it yet, you probably should: it is without a doubt a huge precursor to Avengers: Age of Ultron.
